What is Facial Pain?
When some of our patients share their concerns of sinus issues with Dr. Elangovan, they often express an intense pressure behind their eyes or nose that causes facial pain. This is caused by a buildup of fluid in the sinuses, which are deeply nestled behind our facial structures. This facial pain is often accompanied by chronic sinus infections and headaches, as the fluid in the sinuses buildup while you sleep and doesn’t have the opportunity to drain properly.
